Paralegal/Business Development Manager
After more than 10 years in the real estate and development business, Ms. Mazzarella transitioned into the legal field in 2008 where she focuses on high-stakes business and real estate disputes both locally and internationally. She is currently a paralegal involved in civil litigation. She successfully completed the State of California’s 4-year Law Office Study Program and passed the Bar Exam in July 2023. She has participated in both jury and bench trials involving claims in excess of $300 million, more than 100 depositions, dozens of mediations, and has handled numerous administrative matters involving various governmental agencies.
Ms. Mazzarella has successfully assisted in the processing of subdivisions, resolution of zoning disputes, and has appeared before numerous community groups, the San Diego County Board of Supervisors and various other local agencies. She has successfully negotiated with the City of San Diego, City of La Mesa, City of Chula Vista, the City of Escondido, the San Diego County Board of Supervisors, the San Diego County Tax Assessor and the San Diego County Tax Collector and has worked on behalf of the City of National City.
